Q:  What should I look for when choosing a school?

A:  For local students, we recommend checking admission requirements, instructor qualifications, training facilities and equipment. A visit to the admissions office is wise to receive detailed course information. We are recommended by the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).
 

Q:  Will the college assist me with my job search once I graduate from the program?

A:  Yes,  we will provide assistance and information for job searches locally and in all areas.
 

Q:  What about placement rates?

A:  Travel placement figures for 2003 are that:

  • 100% of our students in this program scheduled to graduate in 2003, went on to graduate, and
  • 17% of our students scheduled to graduate in that year found FULL TIME jobs in the Travel Industry
  • 66% of our students started their own businesses
  • 17% of our students did nothing with their new education

 B:  Hotel placement figures for 2003 are that:

  • 100% of our students in this program schedules to graduate in 2003, went on to graduate , and
  • 50% of our students scheduled to graduate in that year found FULL TIME jobs in the Hotel Industry
  • 50% of our students did nothing with their education

Q:  Can international students or foreign students attend your school?

A:  Yes, International students are most welcome.  We provide I-20 visas and mark them for one year or longer.
 

Q: Can I speak with former graduates from your college?

A:  Yes.  We can forward some email addresses to you if you ask.
 

Q:  May I participate in class orientation?

Q:  Do you offer internships?

A: Yes.  We work with local travel agencies and hotels.
 

Q:  What's the difference between the short and long program?

A:  The long program is 300 hours and covers everything related to the travel industry.  It is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in travel. The shorter program is 100 hours and covers Cruises, Tours, Travel Agency Theory and SABRE. Click Programs to see the outline of the complete courses.
 

Q:  Would I receive a certificate from both programs?

Q:  Can I open my own home-based business?

A:  Yes, after completing one of our longer programs and with minimum hardware requirements. Check out our services and benefits of starting your own home-based business.
 

Q: Would I receive support from your college during my home study or on-line program?

A:  Yes, we have instructors and staff to help you throughout the program. Our director also works closely with you in the on-line program.
 

Q: How long do the home study / on-line courses last?  How much time is involved?

A: The courses covers 300 hours; each module takes approximately 25 hours in a series of 12 modules and a SABRE interactive software.

Q: What equipment is needed for the Home Study and On-Line Programs?

A:  The system requirements are as follows:

  • A PC with Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or higher
  • A MS DOS 2.00 or higher
  • 386 or higher CPU
  • 1.44 MB floppy diskette drive
  • Internet Access
